Cagraray Island, Albay, Aug. 1 (PNA) -- Before yearend, this picturesque island, where a P500-million world-class eco-tourist resort is being developed, will be enjoying clean energy to be generated by a $US 40-million windmill power facility.

Balamban, Cebu – Aboitiz company FBMA launched the locally-built Betico II, a 57-meter long fast craft roll-on roll-off catamaran capable of carrying 356 passengers and 10 cars.

Philippine Air to cut baggage allowance, save on fuel

MANILA, Aug 28 - Philippine Airlines <PHL.UL> announced on Thursday it would cut back on free baggage allowed for passengers on trans-Pacific routes to save on fuel costs, which are eating into its revenues.

Cebu Pacific flies to more destinations

Cebu Pacific (CEB), the airline brand of the Gokongwei’s JG Summit Holdings Inc., will fly to more local cities from its Cebu hub and will base two more ATR72-500 aircraft on top of the four Airbus aircraft currently based in the province.
