Convention of tourism students set in Cebu City

CEBU CITY — More than 1,000 tourism and hospitality students from the different universities in Cebu will gather at the SM Center on Oct. 11 for the first League of Tourism Students (LTS) convention aimed at honing up the skills of the students and preparing them for the real world of tourism.

Pagcor’s $25-B tourism city to rise in Parañaque

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor) may now begin construction of the biggest tourism and entertainment city in the country after securing a permit from Parañaque, which is expected to rake in P1 billion yearly in tax revenue from the $25-billion project.
