Tacloban airport expansion project gets P500 million

TACLOBAN CITY — The national government has allocated P500 million this year for the expansion of the Daniel Z. Romualdez Airport and relocation of around 200 families displaced by the project, Merla Negradas, Civil Aviation Authority area manager for Eastern Visayas, told reporters here.

German program supports LGUs’ landfill projects

TACLOBAN CITY – The second phase of the German Technical Cooperation GTZ-AHT Group project dubbed as Solid Waste Management for Local Government Units (SWM4LGUs) in the Visayas will extend technical support and capability-building aide for three cities and clustered municipalities in Eastern Visayas.
