DESPITE the conversion of some of Iloilo City's streets into national roads receiving thumbs up from the City Council, their repairs will have to be done later, City congressman Raul Gonzalez Jr. said in an interview over the radio.

AN ILONGGO group headed by lawyer Daniel Cartagena formally submitted Friday its opposition to House Bill 4256 before Senator Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III, chairman on Senate's Committee on Local Government.
The group strongly resisted the idea of dividing Iloilo City into two districts.
