P2.5-billion Iloilo flood control rushed

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) on Wednesday sent workers to Iloilo to speed up the construction of the P2.5-billion flood control project that is expected to mitigate the flood problems in the region this rainy season.

The city council is expected to decide on the proposed disposal of the city hall property at the Plaza Libertad area before the end of November this year to fix the location where the new city hall building will be constructed.

ILOILO CITY, Sept. 15 (PNA) -– The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor) has approved the request of the Metro Iloilo Guimaras Economic Development Council (MIGEDC) to fund the construction of 310 electric posts and sodium lamps from the new airport in Sta. Barbara, Iloilo to Iloilo City.

DPWH to open E. Marcos Bridge by middle of September

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will open the typhoon damaged E. Marcos Bridge connecting the towns of Maasin and Cabatuan, Iloilo by middle of this month.
